"ALL WORKING TOGETHER SAFELY" Health Campaign E-mail
jueves, 08 octubre 2009

2009 was atypical for the business tourism industry in Mexico; besides facing an economic downturn that affected al fields at the national and international levels, as well as insecurity in our country, we had to face a new virus detected in Mexico, AH1N1,

a respiratory illness caused by type 1 influenza. Under these circumstances, the Federal Government took preventive measures including suspending all those activities that required large gatherings in an effort to reduce contagion.

Cintermex as a socially responsible company is carrying out the following preventive actions for combating the influenza:

ü  Placement of sanitizers in each access to the building

ü  Issuing face masks to persons that present symptoms of influenza or seasonal flu and that have been assessed by the venue's infirmary.

Ø  Random measurement of body temperatures of office residents and visitors in the following manner:

ü  Frontal digital thermometer

ü  On-screen body temperature readings using an infrared camera

ü  Conditioning access to the Venue of persons with a temperature above 38°C (100.4°F).

Ø  Constant of repetitive contact surfaces such as:

ü  Doors

ü  Door handles

ü  Tables

ü  Railings

ü  Faucets and sinks

Product employed

This cleanliness is performed with a product known as VIREX 256 which is a disinfectant manufactured by Johnson Diversey , a leading brand in the cleaning and disinfection market.

Virex II 256 is a broad spectrum concentrated disinfectant used in health centers and other institutions where cleanliness and the disinfection process are critical.

The product works by eliminating bacteria, viruses and fungi

Supervision

Reinforcement of supervision in the restrooms to ensure the permanent availability of soap and paper towels, since hand washing is vital for avoiding contagion.

Information will be placed in the restrooms explaining and recommending the correct hand washing procedure per the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) which specifies washing with soap for 20 seconds.

Actions towards services providers

Access point for external service staff (food and beverages, security, housekeeping and external suppliers) will require completing a form detailing and inspecting each person's physical well being.

Anti bacterials have been placed in the kitchen and food preparation area and constant hand washing has been defined as a mandatory procedure.

Cintermex wants its customers to feel safe when they visit our facilities and/or attend different events that are held here, and therefore all efforts are made for maximum compliance with the methods for preventing the AH1N1 virus and they involve all our areas.

Following these guidelines for the health campaigns in Cintermex will surely allow is to achieve that we are "ALL WORKING TOGETHER SAFELY"
